Shadow Of The Tomb Raider

The journey starts out with Lara and her long-time friend Jonah. They get separated after a plane crash, and Lara gets stuck in a cave. So starts the prologue.

After the prologue ends and the game begins, once again Lara and Jonah get separated after a plane crash. When Lara wakes up she finds herself stranded in the jungle with nothing but the cloths on her back. Lara needs to find a way to get her supples out of the plane wreckage that's stuck in the trees. She needs a knife to cut the ropes that hold the wreckage. She finds a knife from the end of the plane but it's dull. She then needs to find the necessary pieces to sharping the knife.

Eventually Lara and Jonah meet up again further in the jungle. They come to a small village on their way to the hidden city, Patitti. Their mission is to find, "the box," before Trinity does. But this doesn't make much sense as to why she started this journey in the first place. Lara is obsessed with treasures forged by long lost ancient tribes. There is some connection between her mission and her fathers. None of this is really quiet clear and it seems the message of Lara and her father can change from game to game. In a flash back journey to Lara's past when shes a child she sets off on a mission to find the, "white queen." Forgive me if I don't remember the point of this, all I remember is that she finds some book before she hears the gunshot.

In previews Tomb Raiders like, Rise of the Tomb Raider Lara's father had also shot himself. So it seems clear that Lara's father died from a self inflicted gunshot wound to the head. But oddly enough later in the Shadow of the Tomb Raider Lara is found, and I quote saying that , "trinity had killed her father." I'll leave this for you to figure out for it is revealed latter in the game when Lara meets up with the leader of trinity, Rorke.

Is this Rorke?

Or Is this Rorke? You figure it out.

Lara's story is pretty vague and different in each Tomb Raider adventure. I could care less if you ask me I'm more interested in the game play itself and not usually the story. But nevertheless the story in Shadow Of The Tomb Raider is a riveting one and can get you hooked.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider in my opinion is beautiful and very well put together. I've have followed the Tomb Raider games since the beginning and they always have been one of my favorite games to play. I enjoy the puzzles, and the climbing and as well the upgrades. Tomb Raider is very similar to another game called Uncharted. Both are great games and I would suggest if you like Tomb Raider maybe checking out Uncharted as well.
