Welcome

This blog is being put together for gamers that want the best games for an affordable price still with amazing graphics. Who want's a PS4 or XBox One game with crappy graphics?

For the longest time I struggled financially, in fact I was completely broke, my life was a mess and I was homeless. Coming from a background in computers and gaming systems it was a nightmare for me. Now 2 years later I’m living in Florida with a PS4, a new computer and 3 flat screen TVs.

It was, Christmas, 1985 when my parents gave me the best present a kid could ever have; an original Nintendo gaming system. I loved that Nintendo SOO much I would play games like Mario Bros and Legend of Zelda over and over again. The classic’s many my age would agree. Having been very young at the time I wasn't very good at games. I struggled to complete Mario Bros and when I did I played it all over again. Zelda, I still to this day, have not yet finished. Zelda what a great game that was! One of the first and greatest RPG video games I had ever played and I loved it! From that day on my most favorite style games where: RPG(role-playing games)ARPG(action role-playing games) and MMORPG(massively multiplayer) online role-playing games. Although I don’t really get in to much of the MMORPG, I tend to like a solo single player campaign mode. At the time I had no idea that these games were based off of a known earlier tabletop RPG called D&D(Dungeons and Dragons)D&D was first introduced by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson in 1974.

My second gaming system was a GameCube. Being a skater-boy in my past, naturally I loved the Tony Hawk gaming series. I was addicted to the gap finding and completing the challenges. This gave me an early love for today's video games like DestinyHorizon Zero Dawn, Fallout, Assassin’s CreedDarksiders, and Tomb Raider

My next system was an Xbox 360 which was affordable to me at the time, although I had longed for a PS3. God Of War was a series I had heard of, but never played since I hadn’t ever owned a PlayStation. That was the sole reason for me getting a PlayStation 4 latter on.

When I finally got some extra cash to spend on a new gaming system I looked around for a PS4 that I could afford. Time after time I fell into the same loop that I had fallen into before with the Xbox 360. I could afford an Xbox One but couldn’t afford a PS4. So I told myself, maybe Xbox One isn’t so bad. The next day I was on my way to the pawn shop to pick up an Xbox One that was in my price range. All my friends where PS4 lovers and I too wanted to join the elite club of PS4 owners, but I figured I was going to have to settle pm an Xbox One. But it didn't have God Of War, oh well maybe next time. “NO,” a voice in my head screamed. I had one other place I could check. Bingo! That was it! The next pawn shop I arrived at had a PS4 for the same price as the Xbox One at the other pawn shop. I couldn’t believe. I had exactly enough to get it but not enough to buy God Of War. So of course it had to be the first PS4 game I rented. It seemed I was more excited about finally joining the PS4 Sony  club. Not only was it a PlayStation but it was a PlayStation 4! I felt like I finally stepped into the future and joined my fellow comrades in the PS4 generation. The graphics and game play where more than a hundred times better than any Xbox 360 game I had played in the past. So I never finished God Of War for the fact that I wanted to see what else was out there. Also because I had outstanding late fees and I still wanted to use that video store. Ooops!

This blog is my best video game blog. You will find reviews of games I’ve seen and played that I feel are worthy of posting. It is always best to check out different reviews of any video games before you make your finally decision. $60 for a brand new game can be costly, and if you’re like me and have late charges from places like Red Box, lol, you might need to look around before making a finally decision on your next purchase. I myself use gamefly.com to rent the games I can’t afford. I use PlayStation Store with a PlayStation Plus membership to buy games I can afford. Gamefly.com offers rentals of any video game or movie, to keep as long as you like starting at $15 a month, first month free. SOO much more affordable than paying $60 for a game you may or may not even like. For example; I loved the Fallout games. So I decided to just go ahead and buy Fallout 76 when it first came out. I was sure I would play that game forever, but that was before it kind a fell apart. It’s been months now since I last played Fallout 76. In fact I’ve actually deleted it from my PS4 system to free up more room for other games. Hmmm. Seems like try it before you buy it makes sense now doesn’t it? I will try my hardest to post the best deals and times for affordable worth it video games. If I find any game cheaper anywhere else I will follow it up with a review and post it. Make sure to check out my top 10 video games for each month also.

Well that’s a little history about me and how I became the PlayStation 4 lover and video game fanatic.  You can also follow me on twitter @madmangamerz. Good luck gamers and remember, “Game On!"
